Digital Sandbox Gets Play on Up To Date

Late last month it was announced that a UMKC-led consortium claimed a winning spot for a federal i6 challenge grant. The $1 million grant will be used to create a proof of concept center to spur the development of IT startups in the Kansas City region.

Steve Kraske of KCUR's Up To Date talked to Maria Myers, director of UMKC's Innovation Center, about what the project means for area business.
