Digital Storytelling Forum to Feature Wired's Frank Rose

Digital storytelling is a robust industry in our region of the Midwest. It is an industry poised for even greater growth in the near future. On June 21, KCSourcelink will host the Kansas City Digital Storytelling Forum with support from Hallmark Cards, the University of Missouri’s Media of the Future programThe Mid-America Regional Council, the Full Employment Council, the Reynolds Journalism Institute and several other program partners. Frank Rose of Wired magazine will be the keynote speaker.

The goals of this session are to:
1. Highlight the career and industry growth opportunities for digital storytelling in our region
2. Establish plans and partnerships for advancing this growth in the region

We also hope to inspire participants to develop their own capabilities in digital storytelling as they learn more about this promising area for career and business development.

This event is being offered in conjunction with One Week KC, a KCChamber program that promotes entrepreneurial start up activities in the Kansas City area.
