With about a week and a half remaining in the Google Fiber rally, 98 fiberhoods have achieved their preregistration goals, almost 50% of the areas eligible. In the past seven days, 11 fiberhoods in KCK and seven in KCMO reached their goals. And 10 fiberhoods are within 15 signups. Altogether, 98 fiberhoods out of 202 have qualified to have Google Fiber in their neighborhoods, meaning that schools, libraries and city buildings in those neighborhoods will also have access.
