Remote Video Production House
Hollywood has long had a firm hold on Movie and TV production, and if you want into the business, you have to live in Los Angeles. High speed fiber opens an enormous doorway for working remotely. An entire production facility could exist over the internet. Due to the size of movie files, it would be impossible to work with high resolution video, and send it back and forth between clients let alone employees. This will be a problem of the past.
I would propose a production facility, an Editing, Sound Design, VFX, Web Design, and Motion Graphics hub, which would work with clients and employees remotely. The key to the entire process is this: Employees DO NOT need to work with their own software, or worry about the speed of their home computer, they just need to SEE THE DISPLAY from our end. All an employee would need is the hardware to simply view the output coming from the main office. That requires a simple computer, mouse/tablet, and display. The possibilities this would bring are endless. An entire virtual office environment could be created, where employees could work from their home, and are free to live anywhere.
