Kansas City Public School Alternative

Turn one or many of Kansas City's bankrupt, abandoned schools into a computer lab and web-based school.  Students of the now unaccredited Kansas City Public Schools would attend classes online and earn a high school degree in their own neighborhood from accredited schools over the internet.  The district can employ the same staff to facilitate classes however the lessons would be at the students individual pace.

  • My wife was just going through KCMO school district´s school repurposing plan and found several candidates for this. I´ve heard google would connect public k-12 schools for free... the trick would be to find the districts/schools/teachers that would be innovative enough to open up their classrooms in this way.
