Hacker Houses KC

Goal: To encourage startups from the West coast and around the US to move to KC by providing shared "Hacker Houses" where startups enjoy Google Fiber, share rent, share ideas and share intellectual talent. 

This concept is already widely in use in Silicon Valley:

We need this in KC! 

It would even be great to have a "Startup District" or "Startup Alley" near the Google Fiber office in Westport where several startup hacker houses are located and provide regular community events to connect them all together in support groups and regular network building.

  • 39th is a very nice area to hang it (though I'm not into vegan coffee shops.) I'd say there's a very good chance that I'd want to move into a place like that - around there - as a landing pad, before I move my family to town.
