Hacker, Maker, Google Fiber Lab / Collaboration Space.

The idea is to leverage the strengths of the local hackerspace called CCCKC at Hammerspace. To create a Google fiber think tank, lab, research and collaborate location. It will became a testing playground for people interested in what Google fiber can do and what they can do with Google fiber.

The current location of the local Hackerspace is in a former AT&T switching station near 63rd and Brookside. We have a large room in the building that can be easily convert over into a Fiber Lab / Collaboration space. The Lab would have 2 or 3 computers hooked up to the Fiber network plus a Wi-Fi and land line connects to the network. The area would have a large white board, desks and chair for large meetings or classes or it could be easily divide up into smaller collaboration areas where people could work alone or in small groups.

In conclusion, the idea is to use what Hackerspaces are best at collaborate, openness and the free flow of ideas to come up with not just one but many ideas for the best uses of Google Fiber.
