A la Carte TV service

Begin offering a la carte TV programming.  The most frustrating of my monthly bills is always what I pay for the privilege of watching exactly three channels of programming along with local news and weather.  The only three channels my TV ever sees other than local news is History, Discovery, and BBC America.  For this programming, which I generally watch 6 hours of per month, I get to pay over $60.  If someone with the bandwidth to do it doesnt begin offering a la carte service in the next couple of years I've decided to cancel TV service altogether.  As I have it figured, I pay 10 bucks per hour of TV service, and thats far more than the entertainment value received.

  • Love this idea! I watch ABC, CNN, Hallmark, and OWN for the most part. I am getting close to canceling cable since I can catch much of what I need online, and I could use an antenna.

  • Very True. Television and the Internet have been merging over the years. Ultra HIghspeed Fiber is may finally kill cable tv packages once and for all.
